Pristine Renovations was founded on a simple belief: a renovation should not be something you survive. We deliver high-end residential renovations across Tallahassee and surrounding areas, guided by clear communication, disciplined project management, and an attention to detail that shows up long after the crew leaves.

Founded on a bold idea: that construction could be different.
For too long, renovation projects have been associated with headaches, missed deadlines and unclear communication. Nearly everyone has a story, theirs or a neighbor’s, about a project that ran months over, a contractor who stopped answering the phone, or a change order that doubled a bathroom.
Our founder set out to build a company where process meets craftsmanship: where every project is managed with transparency, every client is treated like a partner, and every detail is executed with pride. Not because it makes a better brochure, but because it is the only way to do this work in a town where your reputation walks into the grocery store ahead of you.
Today we are known for delivering high-quality residential renovations across Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Pristine Renovations is a veteran-owned construction company founded on discipline, accountability and service.
Our founder served in the United States Marine Corps and later as a Florida State Trooper. One of our superintendents served twelve years in the U.S. Air Force. That is not a marketing line on this website. It is why the schedule is written down before work starts, why the job site is clean at the end of every day, and why you get told about a problem the morning we find it rather than the week we fix it.

Paul Tompkins
Since 2004, Paul has worked in construction. A United States Marine Corps veteran and former Florida State Trooper, he leads Pristine Renovations with integrity, discipline and white-glove client care.
Kelsey Tompkins
Kelsey shapes the elevated, white-glove experience clients associate with Pristine. With a refined eye for aesthetics and a passion for spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful, she works closely with the design team and project leaders so every project feels considered from start to finish.
Chris Poyner
With experience in real estate and new construction, Chris is usually the first person you will speak to, and he sets the tone for a clear, professional project from the very first conversation.

Almost everything we take on is in Leon County. Killearn Estates, Golden Eagle Plantation, SummerBrooke and Killearn Lakes to the northeast; Betton Hills, Waverly Hills, Myers Park and Los Robles in town; Centerville Conservation, Bobbin Brook and Bobbin Mill Woods on the larger lots; SouthWood, Buckhead and Buck Lake to the south and east. Staying close is what lets a superintendent actually be on your site.
