Tallahassee, Florida
Renovations for the homes people intend to keep.
Renovating homes for Florida families since 2004, and Tallahassee homes since 2020.
Who we are
A residential remodeling contractor Tallahassee, FL homeowners trust.
Most remodeling companies can replace a kitchen. Fewer can move the wall behind it.
Pristine Renovations is owned and operated by a Florida State Certified Building Contractor. That means the structural work, the permitting, the mechanical coordination and the finish carpentry all sit under one license, with one crew, answering to one superintendent.
That distinction rarely matters when a project is going well. It matters enormously the morning someone opens a wall in a 1988 Killearn house and finds something nobody planned for.
By the numbers
Every project is managed in-house by a named superintendent, the person who runs your job on site every day, reachable and accountable from demolition day to final walkthrough.
What we do
Complete transformations, not individual tasks.
Five services. One license. One crew. One point of contact.
Layout, cabinetry, islands, lighting and storage, rebuilt around how you actually cook and gather.
Walk-in showers, custom vanities, tilework and lighting, designed for daily use and long-term comfort.
Multiple rooms, coordinated. Outdated layouts opened up and made consistent throughout the house.
New space that reads as original: matched rooflines, matched proportions, matched detail.
Connected spaces reworked together: flooring, lighting, finishes and structure, in one coordinated build.
See it in motion
A whole home, walked end to end.
Photographs show finishes. Video shows how a house actually flows.
Why Pristine
One partner. Every detail.
One license, one crew
Design coordination, structural work, mechanical trades and finish carpentry sit under a single Florida Certified Building Contractor license and a single contract. You are not the person standing between a cabinet installer and an electrician who have never met.
A named superintendent, on site
One person owns your project from demolition to final walkthrough. You get their name, their number, and a standing weekly update, whether or not there is news.
A schedule we publish, and keep
Before work begins you receive a written schedule with real dates for demolition, rough-in, inspection, cabinetry, finishes and walkthrough. When something moves, you hear it from us first.
A price that holds
Your contract price is fixed against a defined scope. Change orders exist for genuine changes, and every one is priced and approved in writing before a tool is picked up.

Before & after
The same kitchen. Eleven weeks apart.

Honey oak raised-panel cabinets and speckled granite. Same footprint, same window, same walls, same layout. The room was taken back to the shell and fully replaced: new cabinetry, new quartz countertops, new appliances, and a new sink and faucet.
How it works
Five steps. No surprises.
Consultation
We come to your home, look at the space, and listen to what is not working. You get an honest read on scope, feasibility and a realistic investment range before anyone asks you for anything.
Design & Selections
We develop the plan, covering layout, structure and every material decision, then walk you through the choices with guidance rather than a catalog. You see it before it is built.
Contract & Schedule
A defined scope, a fixed price, and written dates. Permitting and material procurement are scheduled separately from design. Construction starts once approvals and required deliveries are in place.
Build
Demolition through finishes, managed on site by your named superintendent, with a weekly update whether or not there is news. Your home is protected, cleaned daily, and secured every night.
Walkthrough
We walk the finished work together and build the punch list from your eyes, not ours. Warranty documents, care instructions, and the keys back.
Renovation is disruptive. We plan around it with dust barriers, daily cleanup, a working kitchen for as long as possible, and a crew that knows your dog’s name.
Where we work
Tallahassee and the established neighborhoods around it.
Killearn Estates, Golden Eagle Plantation, SummerBrooke and Killearn Lakes account for a lot of our year, along with the in-town streets of Betton Hills, Waverly Hills, Myers Park and Los Robles. We also build on the larger lots at Centerville Conservation, Bobbin Brook, Bobbin Trace and Bobbin Mill Woods, and in the newer homes at SouthWood, Buckhead and Buck Lake.

Common questions
Straight answers, including the ones about money.
Still have a question?
Most of the kitchen renovations we complete fall within $90,000–$180,000, depending on size, whether walls move, and the level of cabinetry and appliances. We publish these ranges because guessing helps nobody. If your budget is well below this, we would rather tell you at the first conversation than after three weeks of drawings.
A bathroom typically runs 4 to 8 weeks on site, a kitchen 8 to 12 weeks, and a whole-home renovation 4 to 9 months. Preparation is separate: design, selections and permitting depend on the scope, with whole-home planning typically taking 3 to 5 months. Material procurement follows approved selections and supplier lead times; cabinetry or specialty tile can extend the time before construction. We confirm permits, delivery dates and the written build schedule before demolition.
Yes, both ways. Some clients arrive with an architect or interior designer already engaged and we build to their drawings. Others want us to handle design coordination in-house. Neither is a problem, and we will tell you honestly which is likely to serve your project better.
Your contract price is fixed against a defined scope. It changes in two situations: you decide to add or upgrade something, or we open a wall in a fifty-year-old house and find something nobody could have known was there. Both are priced and approved in writing before any work happens. You will not find a surprise on the final invoice.
For a single kitchen or bathroom, almost always. We set up dust barriers, protect flooring and pathways, clean daily, and keep you in a working kitchen for as long as the schedule allows. For whole-home renovations most clients move out for at least part of the build, and we will be straight with you about which weeks are genuinely livable.
Generally, no. Our work is focused on complete transformations: full kitchens, full bathrooms, additions, and multi-room renovations. We do not take on handyman work, small repairs, decks, or outdoor living projects. If your project is smaller than that, we are happy to point you toward someone better suited.
Let’s talk about the home you actually want to live in.
A consultation is a conversation, not a sales visit. We come to your home, look at the space, listen to what isn’t working, and tell you honestly what it will take, before anyone signs anything.
